Wicken, a Cambridgeshire fen village has a proud history of brass band music, Wicken Coronation Band was created in 1911 to lead a patriotic parade to the church to celebrate the coronation of George V.

The band has been active in the social life of the village ever since, and has been successful in competitions, winning many prizes.

This Album was recorded at the Mission Hall in Wicken, (With the exception of 'Euston' which was recorded in the Berrycroft Methodist Church, Soham) and sold as a tape a concerts.

Tracks 1-6 were performed by the Senior Band
Tracks 7-11 were performed by the Youth Band
